UBC June Work Session Monday 6/26

The Upper Boggy Creek Neighborhood Plan Contact Team will meet Monday, June 26th for its regular June work session.

A full agenda is here.  Discussion items will include:

  • Update on legislative actions related to land use and affordable housing in Upper Boggy Creek planning area
  • Follow up on 5/22/17 discussion regarding Inclusionary Zoning in Homestead Preservation Districts
  • Discussion on contact team input on CodeNEXT draft code, maps and Affordable Housing Density Bonus Program

All are welcome and encouraged to attend.  Please join us at 6:30 pm at the Fannie Mae Stewart Conservatory in Blackland (1902 E. 22nd Street).

Work sessions are intended for the contact team and neighbors to engage in deeper conversations about our role in neighborhood planning. No votes will be taken at any work session.

UBC May Work Session: Inclusionary Zoning with Kathie Tovo

What happens when housing policy ensures that affordable housing be included in all new market multi-family construction?

On Monday, May 22nd the Upper Boggy Creek Neighborhood Plan Contact Team will continue its monthly work session series by inviting Mayor Pro Tem and District 9 Council Member Kathie Tovo to join us in a moderated discussion on Inclusionary Zoning in Homestead Preservation Districts.

UBC March Work Session

The Upper Boggy Creek Neighborhood Plan Contact Team will host a work session Monday, March 27th beginning at 6:30pm at the Fannie Mae Stewart Conservatory (1902 E. 22nd Street).

The agenda for this work session may include:

The work session items will include discussion only and no items are slated for action at this meeting.  All residents and business owners in the UBC planning area are welcome and encouraged to attend and participate!

UBC Contact Team Quarterly Meeting, 1/23

The Upper Boggy Creek Neighborhood Plan Contact team will have its regular quarterly meeting on Monday, January 23rd beginning at 6:30pm.  The meeting will be held at the Fannie Mae Stewart Conservatory at 1902 E. 22nd Street.

Topics will include continued discussions on the Local Historic District tool and the White House’s recent Housing Development Toolkit, in addition to specific items in the UBC area.  The full agenda is here.

UBC Contact Team Quarterly Meeting, Monday 10/24

The Upper Boggy Creek Neighborhood Plan Contact team will have its regular quarterly meeting on Monday, October 24th beginning at 6:30pm.  The meeting will be held at the Fannie Mae Stewart Conservatory at 1902 E. 22nd Street.

Special Called Meeting & NCCD Presentation

The Upper Boggy Creek Neighborhood Plan Contact Team will host David Conner of the Hyde Park Neighborhood Association for a presentation on their experience with the City’s Neighborhood Conservation Combining District construct.  This is a special called meeting of the Contact Team and all are welcome to attend and participate in the discussion.

The meeting will be held at the Fannie Mae Stewart Conservatory at 1902 E. 22nd Street beginning at 6:30pm on Monday, August 22nd.  Agenda is here.

UBC July Quarterly Meeting 7/25

The Upper Boggy Creek Neighborhood Plan Contact Team will hold its regular quarterly meeting this Monday, July 25th.  The meeting will be at 6:30pm at the Fannie Mae Stewart Conservatory (1902 E. 22nd Street).
