Special Called Meeting 8/26/19

The Upper Boggy Creek Neighborhood Plan Contact Team will host its rescheduled quarterly meeting this Monday, August 24th at 6:30pm.  The meeting will be held at the Fannie Mae Stewart Conservatory at 1902 E. 22nd Street.

July Quarterly Meeting and By Laws Action POSTPONED

The July Regular Quarterly meeting of the Upper Boggy Creek Neighborhood Plan Contact Team will be held Monday, 7/22 at 6:30pm at the Fannie Mae Stewart Conservatory at 1902 E. 22nd Street.  The full agenda is here.

Discussion will include possible action on City of Austin-requested revisions to the Contact Team By Laws.  A special working group of Contact Team has spent several months crafting revisions which are available for viewing here (PDF) or here (DOC).

All are welcome and encouraged to attend and participate.

Special Called Meeting 6/24/19

The Upper Boggy Creek Neighborhood Plan Contact Team will hold a Special Called Meeting on Monday, June 24th beginning at 6:30pm.  The meeting will be held at the Fannie Mae Stewart Conservatory in Blackland (1902 E. 22nd Street).

This meeting is called to hear a presentation by Amanda Swor of the Drenner Group regarding their application for the property at 3201 Merrie Lynn Avenue for a zoning change from MF-4-NP to LO-MU-NP and Neighborhood Plan amendment to revise the Future Land Use Map from Multi-Family to Mixed-Use Office in the Cherrywood Neighborhood.  Full agenda with backup is here.

April Quarterly Contact Team Meeting 4/15 (NOTE DATE CHANGE)

The Upper Boggy Creek Neighborhood Plan Contact Team will hold its July Regular Quarterly Meeting on Monday, April 15th from 6:30 – 8:00 pm.  The meeting will be held at the Fannie Mae Stewart Conservatory in Blackland (1902 E. 22nd Street).

The agenda items include:

  • Approval of minutes from 1/28/19 Meeting and 2/25/19 Special Called Meeting
  • Approval of alternate representatives
  • Discussion and possible action on proposed FLUM change at 4603-11 IH35 frontage road (Delwood II neighborhood)
  • Discussion and possible action on City Council resolution to ease restrictions on Affordable Housing projects
  • Discussion and possible action on proposed FLUM change at 2107 Alamo Street (Blackland neighborhood)
  • Update on By-Laws Working Group

Special Called Meeting 2/25/19

The Upper Boggy Creek Neighborhood Plan Contact Team will hold a Special Called Meeting on Monday, February 25th beginning at 6:30pm.  The meeting will be held at the Fannie Mae Stewart Conservatory in Blackland (1902 E. 22nd Street).

This meeting is called to hear a presentation by Megan Lasch of Saigebrook Development regarding their application for TDHCA tax credits for a project at 4503-5 and 4603-11 IH35 in the Delwood II Neighborhood.  Full agenda with backup is here.

Contact Team Quarterly Meeting, 1/28

The Upper Boggy Creek Neighborhood Plan Contact Team will hold its July Regular Quarterly Meeting on Monday, January 28th from 6:30 – 8:00 pm.  The meeting will be held at the Fannie Mae Stewart Conservatory in Blackland (1902 E. 22nd Street).

  • Approval of minutes from 12/10/17 Special Called Meeting
  • Discussion and possible action on revisions to By Laws to bring them into alignment with City of Austin requirements (Stevie Greathouse, COA, presenting)
  • Discussion and possible action on revisions to By Laws to create provision for voting membership outside of Neighborhood Association representatives
  • Discussion and possible action on option to opt-in to City Front Yard Parking Restrictions
  • Discussion on Minneapolis 2040 Plan

Special Called Meeting 12/10/18

The Upper Boggy Creek Neighborhood Plan Contact Team will hold a Special Called Meeting on Monday, December 10th beginning at 6:30pm.  The meeting will be held at the Fannie Mae Stewart Conservatory in Blackland (1902 E. 22nd Street).

This meeting is called to discuss procedural concerns over the Contact Team’s lack of action regarding a recent zoning change request at 3200 Merrie Lynn Avenue and potentially make a recommendation for future Contact Team action.

Other items include the approval of representatives from Schieffer-Willowbrook Neighborhood Association and option to opt-in to City front yard parking requirements.  Full agenda is here.
